Privacy policy

Effective and last updated October 25, 2026.

This policy explains what personal information ibtechnicals collects, why, who else handles it, how long we keep it, and what you can ask us to do with it.

The short version: the only personal information you give us is your email address and the kind of interview you are preparing for, and only if you join the early-access list. We don't use cookies, analytics, advertising pixels or session recording. We don't sell your information or use it for targeted advertising. Email us any time and we will delete it.

Who we are

ibtechnicals (ibtechnicals.com) is run by BLRB Digital LLC ("we", "us" or "our"), 377 Main St, West Haven, CT 06516, United States. BLRB Digital LLC decides how and why your personal information is used, so we are its "data controller" under EU and UK law and the "business" under California law. Questions about this policy or your information go to admin@blrbdigital.com.

This policy covers ibtechnicals.com and emails between you and us about ibtechnicals.

What we collect and why

Information you give us

Information collected automatically

Information from other sources

We don't buy or receive information about you from other companies.

What we don't collect

There are no accounts or passwords on ibtechnicals, and nothing is for sale, so we collect no payment details. The free practice questions run entirely in your browser: we don't record which questions you open or which answers you choose. The voice interviewer preview on our home page is a silent animation. It never uses your microphone and records nothing. We don't collect sensitive information such as government ID numbers, health information or precise location.

Cookies and tracking

ibtechnicals sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser (no local storage, session storage or similar). We don't use analytics tools, advertising pixels, session recording or social media plugins. Everything on ibtechnicals.com (pages, images, scripts and styles) loads from our own server, and the text uses fonts already on your device, so visiting our pages doesn't send your information to other companies.

Because we don't track you across websites and don't sell or share your information, there is nothing for a browser's Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal to switch off. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of the sale and sharing of your personal information, which we don't do in any case.

Who else handles it

We use two service providers. They handle personal information only to provide their service to us.

We send no emails to the early-access list yet. When we do, every email that isn't a direct reply to you will include a way to unsubscribe and our postal address. If we use an email delivery service to send them, we will name it on this page before we start. No AI service receives your information through ibtechnicals.

When we share it

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising (targeted advertising). We have not done either in the last 12 months. We don't give personal information to other companies for their own marketing.

How long we keep it

Security

We protect your information with measures that fit how little we hold:

No method of sending or storing information is perfectly secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security. If a breach affects your personal information, we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.

Your rights and choices

Wherever you live, you can ask us to:

How to ask. There are no accounts on ibtechnicals, so email is the way: write to admin@blrbdigital.com from the email address on the list, with "Privacy request" in the subject, and tell us what you would like. If you write from a different address, we will confirm the request with the address on the list before we act, so that no one else can see or delete your information.

Someone acting for you. You can use an authorized agent. We will ask the agent for your signed permission, and we may ask you to confirm the request from the address on the list.

When we answer. We respond within 45 days. If we need more time (up to another 45 days), we will tell you why within the first 45 days. If the law where you live sets a shorter deadline, such as one month in the EU and UK, we meet that one.

Appeals. If we decline your request, we will explain why. You can appeal by replying with "Appeal" in the subject. We will answer the appeal within 45 days, and if we still decline, you can contact your state attorney general or your local data protection authority.

No discrimination. Using any of these rights will never cost you anything or change how we treat you.

California and other US states

California residents have the rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the CPRA) to know, delete and correct their personal information, to opt out of its sale or sharing, to limit the use of sensitive personal information, and not to be discriminated against for using these rights. You use them as described in Your rights and choices. In the last 12 months we have collected these categories of personal information:

We don't collect sensitive personal information. We have not sold or shared (for cross-context behavioral advertising) any category of personal information, and we have no actual knowledge of selling or sharing the personal information of anyone under 16. How long we keep each category is set out in How long we keep it. Under California's "Shine the Light" law, you may ask how we share personal information with other companies for their own direct marketing; we don't.

Residents of Connecticut, Virginia, Colorado, Utah, Texas, Oregon and other states with consumer privacy laws have similar rights: to confirm whether we process their personal information, to access, correct and delete it, to get a portable copy, and to opt out of targeted advertising, sale and profiling (which we don't do). The same request, response time and appeal process applies.

EU and UK visitors

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, the GDPR or UK GDPR gives you the rights above and also the right to object to our use of your information and to ask us to restrict it. Our legal bases are:

We don't make decisions about you based solely on automated processing.

International transfers. We are based in the United States, and the site, the early-access list and our backups are all in the United States. When you use ibtechnicals from outside the US, you send your information to us there, where data protection law may differ from the law where you live. Our hosting provider's data processing agreement includes the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and the UK's International Data Transfer Addendum.

Complaints. You can complain to the data protection authority where you live or work, or where you think a problem happened (in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office). We would be grateful for the chance to sort it out first, so please email us.

Children

ibtechnicals is for university students and working professionals preparing for investment banking interviews. It is not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. There are no accounts, and the only thing anyone can give us is an email address on the early-access form. If we learn that a child under 13 has joined the list, we delete the entry. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child under 13 has joined, email admin@blrbdigital.com with the email address they used and we will delete it. We never sell anyone's personal information or use it for targeted advertising, including that of anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page and update the date at the top. If a change materially affects how we use the email addresses on the early-access list, we will also email the people on the list before the change takes effect.
